Welcome to Mississauga Temple Community Church 
With the clicking of your keyboard and the turn of a mouse you’ve arrived at one of several entry points into the community known as Mississauga Temple. As a faith based community our goal is simple: To lift up the glorious name of Jesus! With a weekly worship service each Sunday at 10:30 AM and a host of other meetings, including Friday night Celebrate Recovery, there is hope today! |

Summer Reminders  With the warmth of the summer sun a host of activities await us. Whether a trip to the beach is in store or a walk along the Port Credit shores the journey of summer 2010 is unfolding. For the golf enthusiast among us it’s a season for long walks and the occasional search for an errant golf ball. A recent devotional reminded me of such a day… “It was one of those days. I was one under… one under the bridge… one under a tree… and one under the clubhouse. In fact the only thing working in my bag was the bug spray. Unfortunately it was attracting them. My partner kept telling me to keep my head down – probably so I wouldn’t see him laughing. As for my woods, they were working just great – but you guessed it; I couldn’t get out of them. As for my score, I hit an eagle… and a birdie.. but also a deer and a coyote. As for breaking 90, I was so excited I almost forget to play the back nine.” If you a golfer, you smile along with Phil Callaway’s humour. Yet smiling is what the good Lord has called us to. In the book of Hebrews we are reminded:
“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God you will receive what He has promised” Hebrews 10:36 |
