Image The desire of Mississauga Temple is that everyone would have opportunity to experience dynamic Christian growth through our HOME Fellowship Groups:

"Homes Open for Ministry and Encouragement."

We are all on a journey in this life. By being at Mississauga Temple Community Church you have indicated a desire to grow - to blaze new spiritual trails rather than coast along. However, if you've never intentionally taken part in a community of believers, then you're missing out on an important part of the journey - and a lot of fun! God designed us to journey together.

We Need Each Other

At MTCC, we believe in the community of believers. As believers journey together, each individual gets the chance to receive - and offer - acceptance, encouragement, friendship, and support. Just as iron sharpens iron, so members of a community sharpen each other. People learn and apply more in the company of others than one person can on his own.

Small Groups Make the Difference

MTCC Small Groups offer the opportunity to meet regularly with other people like you. As a participant, you'll discover and apply the Truth about this life, and find intimate community, practical help and intensive spiritual interaction.

Frequently Asked Questions about Small Groups:

What is a small group?

A Small Group is an intentional gathering of 3 to 12 people at a regular place and time for the purpose of discovering and growing in the abundant life in Christ.

What happens in a Small Group?

Each group is unique, but every week group members spend time socializing and getting to know each other, studying and discussing God's Truth, applying it to their lives, and encouraging and praying for each other.

What do they study?

Some groups study and discuss specific topics or themes (e.g. faith, parenting, service). Others focus on books of the Bible, devotionals, personal growth books, or even the topic of the Sunday sermon.

Who leads?

Each group has a group leader and apprentice. These individuals are spiritually mature and committed to the spiritual and relational development of each member of the group. Each year we provide training to equip our leaders - we use Serendipity training materials.

Where and When do Small Groups Meet?

MTCC Small Groups meet on a weekly basis for approximately 2 hours. We meet in a variety of locations throughout the Mississauga and GTA area. Most groups meet in private homes, but some may meet on church property.

Where do I fit?

Each group is unique, reflecting the personalities and gifts of its members. Some groups are for women, some for men, some for teens, some for College and Career, and some may even provide onsite childcare. Every age group and life stage is represented.
Groups meet at a variety of times - weekdays, or weekends, daytime or evenings.

How do I join?

Simply contact us and express your desire to join a group. We are confident that you will find a group just right for you.
